The Supreme Court on Monday expressed displeasure over the use of two-finger test for rape victims and said that those who test this unscientific method should be prosecuted.
The court held that the test again hurts the victim as it had directed to remove the reference to this test from the study material.
During the hearing, Justice DY Chandrachud said: "It is patriarchal and sexist to suggest that a woman cannot be believed when she says she was raped simply because she is sexually active."
