By-election Voting was held on 3rd November 2022. The seats are Adampur (Haryana), Andheri East (Maharashtra), Dhamnagar (Odisha), Gola Gokarnath (Uttar Pradesh), Gopalganj and Mokama (both Bihar), and Murugode ( Telangana).
The results of the by-elections held in 7 seats of 6 states have been declared. BJP won Haryana's Adampur seat, Uttar Pradesh's Gola Gokarnath and Bihar's Gopalganj seats, while RJD retained its position.
In Odisha's Dhamnagar assembly seat, BJP has also won by defeating BJD by 9,881 votes.
In Telangana, the ruling TRS won the Munugode by-election after a close fight with the BJP.
Meanwhile, in Maharashtra's Andheri East, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction's candidate Rutuja Latke has won the by-election.
According to Election Commission data, 75.25 percent polling was recorded in Adampur, while 31.74 percent (Andheri East), 66.33 percent (Andheri East) for the other 6 seats. Dhamnagar), 55.68 percent (Gola Gorakhnath), 48.35 percent (Gopalganj), 52.47 percent (Mokama), and 77.55 percent (Munugode).
